Basic Network Unit

Oversee the establishment of GMet’s network of observing stations (Land surface, Marine, Upper Air).
Ensure that the established weather observing stations are standard and well maintained. Provide information relating to Naming, location, identification and that of Metadata for each station.

Data Processing Unit
Timely access to Meteorological data by the Government, general public and forecasters to make meaningful decision is very crucial and for that matter, Data Processing unit makes unwavering commitment to enter data compiled by the various weather observation stations into the Clidata database daily irrespective of how tedious and demanding that task entails.

Quality Control Unit
This unit validate and update the database by scrutinizing erroneous datasets emanating from the various weather observing stations, in order to ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency and reliability.
