SUMMARY: In the 3rd dekad, the rains were concentrated more over the west coast. Comparing the dekad to the previous, the spread of rain activity reduced but the amount did not change much. The frequency of occurrence was between 1 to 4 rainy days with the higher number recorded at Tarkwa. Deficit rainfall anomaly has dominated this dekad, where most parts of the country is under the negative anomaly. Most part of the coastal areas experienced normal to above normal rainfall anomaly. Day temperatures were relatively higher at the northern portions and comparatively lower along the extreme south. The night time temperatures were, however, relatively warm along the coastal strips and generally cool towards the north.
