SUMMARY: The dekad experienced rainfall activities extending to part of the north as the season progresses towards the transition belt of the country. Quite a number of stations around the forest belt experienced over 50mm of rain within the period. The forest zone also witnessed, mostly, between three (3) and seven (7) rainy days, while the rest of the country had less than three (3). The northern part of the country was under deficit rain condition while the southern part was predominately surplus with pockets of deficit in some locations. Average day temperatures were relatively higher over the north, where most stations witnessed temperature values of over 36oC. The average night time temperatures were also relatively warm along the extreme southeastern portions through to the northern parts of the country.
