A weak rainstorm observed over the coast of Volta region is expected to intensify and move westwards to affect more areas within the region and more coastal areas. Parts of the Greater Accra region will be affected early in the afternoon before drifting to the Central and Western regions later in the afternoon.

Residents in the affected areas should avoid outdoor activities and secure loose items. During the thunderstorm, stay indoors and away from windows, unplug electrical appliances to prevent damage from lightning strikes, and avoid using corded phones or electrical devices connected to outlets. If caught outdoors, seek substantial shelter immediately and never take refuge under trees during lightning activity. Drivers should exercise extreme caution by reducing speed, using headlights for visibility, and avoiding flooded sections of roadway
