About Air Quality

Air pollution has emerged as one of the greatest risks to human health, our climate and the environment, with an estimated 7 million fatalities worldwide. In 2023, Clean Air Fund released a report stating the exposure to poor air quality has led to about 23,792 deaths in Ghana, surpassing deaths from Malaria 21, 597, Tuberculosis (10, 222), and HIV/AIDS (14, 620) (WHO, 2020; Clean Air Fund, 2023). Hence, it has become necessary to employ effective and practical air quality management techniques, which includes forecasting because the detrimental impacts of air pollution on human health and the environment have grown more obvious.
