Localized thunderstorms or rain have developed and are currently casting cloudiness and producing thunderstorms or rain over the inland areas of Greater Accra, parts of the Central and Eastern Regions. This condition is expected to spread out and affect more areas within the aforementioned regions this afternoon into the evening and parts of the Ashanti and Western north regions later the evening hours.

Seek shelter indoors when thunder is heard or lightning is visible. Secure loose objects outside your home that could be blown away by strong winds. Postpone outdoor activities until the event ceases. If driving, slow down and use headlights for better visibility. Keep updated on weather alerts through the Ghana Meteorological Agency
