ALERT: Rain approaching Southeastern Ghana

Volta , Oti , Eastern , Greater Accra , Bono East, Savannah, Ashanti

A moderate rainstorm has been observed over the coast of Togo and moving towards the northwest. This storm is expected to bring rain of varying intensity to the Volta (between 10PM and Midnight), southern parts of the Eastern (between 10:30pm to 02:00am and Greater Accra (11pm to 3am) regions. A separate rain cloud has been observed within the Oti region and is expected to spread to more areas within the region and into parts of the Eastern, Savannah, Ashanti and Bono East regions.

Residents in the affected regions are advised to take precautionary measures ahead of the approaching rains. Avoid outdoor activities during heavy downpours, and stay clear of flooded roads and waterways.
