Be Alert: Rain within Greater Accra and Eastern regions

A local development of rain cloud has been observed within the Greater Accra region. This cloud is currently producing rain of varying intensity within the Eastern protion of the region. The cloud is expected to spread to more areas within the region and into parts of the Eastern region to peroduce rain of varying intensity this morning into the afternoon. Old Ningo, Sege and environs are currebtly exoeriencing the conditions and os expected to spread to Prampram, Dodowa, Akropong, Tema, Afienya, Oyarifa, Madina and surroundings.

If caught outdoors, seek substantial shelter immediately. Drivers should exercise extreme caution by reducing speed, using headlights for visibility, and avoiding flooded sections of roadway.
