A rain and thunder bearing cloud system over the Northeastern border of Ghana is expected to spread into northern Ghana tonight. The storm is expected to bring rain of varying intensity with thunder and lightning into Ghana. These conditions are expected within the Upper East and Northeast regions. A separate rain cloud is currently within the Savannah region and is expected to spread to the Upper West region tonight. Within the Northern and Savannah regions, pockets of rain and thunder are also expected to be experienced.

Residents and motorists in the affected regions are advised to stay alert to changing weather conditions. Motorists should reduce speed, keep headlights on, and exercise caution on flood-prone roads. The public is urged to stay away from trees and weak structures during periods of strong wind, and to monitor official updates from the Ghana Meteorological Agency for further guidance as the storm progresses.
