A rainstorm with thunder of varying intensity is expected to affect Ho, Kpetoe, Koforidua, Suhum, Somanya, Akropong, Adukrom, Dodowa, Adoagyiri, Adeiso, Keta, Aflao, Dzodze, Akatsi, and surroundings between 3PM and 6PM, and Anloga, Sogakope, Ada, Tema, Accra, and surroundings between 5PM and 8PM, as a rainstorm over the eastern portion of the country moves westward across southern Ghana. Moderate to heavy rains are anticipated with occasional windy conditions

Seek shelter indoors when thunder is heard or lightning is visible. Secure loose objects outside your home that could be blown away by strong winds. Postpone outdoor activities until the event ceases. If driving, slow down and use headlights for better visibility. Keep updated on weather alerts through the Ghana Meteorological Agency.
