It is currently raining in the Volta and Greater Accra regions. The rains are expected to persist this morning within the regions. There is a possibility of flash flood within the Greater Accra region during the event. The Central region and parts of the Western region are also expected to experience rain of varied intensity this morning.

During the event, stay indoors and away from windows, unplug electrical appliances to prevent damage from lightning strikes, and avoid using corded phones or electrical devices connected to outlets. If caught outdoors, seek substantial shelter immediately. Drivers should exercise extreme caution by reducing speed, using headlights for visibility, and avoiding flooded sections of roadway
