CAUTION: Thunder with Moderate to Heavy Rains

Rain and thunder clouds are developing within the Volta and Eastern regions. These clouds are expected to produce moderate to heavy rains within the aforementioned regions this afternoon. The northern parts of Greater Accra region are also expecetd to be affected by these clouds. Ho, Adaklu Waya, Akatsi , BAttor, Adidome, Peki, Dodowa, Akropong, Adukrom, Aburi, Koforidua, Suhum, Somanya, and surroundings are expected to experience these conditions between 4PM and 6PM

Seek shelter indoors when thunder is heard or lightning is visible. Secure loose objects outside your home that could be blown away by strong winds. Postpone outdoor activities until the event ceases. If driving, slow down and use headlights for better visibility. Keep updated on weather alerts through the Ghana Meteorological Agency.
