Low clouds engulfing southern Ghana will persist and produce rain of varying intensity this morning. Occasional windy conditions will also be experienced during the period. Due to the rains experienced across southern Ghana yesterday, this is likely to lead to cases of flash flood.

During the thunderstorm, stay indoors and away from windows, unplug electrical appliances to prevent damage from lightning strikes, and avoid using corded phones or electrical devices connected to outlets. If caught outdoors, seek substantial shelter immediately and never take refuge under trees during lightning activity. Drivers should exercise extreme caution by reducing speed, using headlights for visibility, and avoiding flooded sections of roadway
