Event Description

A rainstorm is approaching Ghana from the coast of Togo and Benin, with the majority of the system expected to track over the ocean. However, coastal areas of Ghana will be affected as the storm moves westward. Communities within the Volta and Greater Accra regions will experience the weather system first, before it drifts to affect the Central and Western regions. Rainfall of varying intensity accompanied by thunder and gusty winds are anticipated throughout these coastal areas during the storm's passage.
