Moderate to heavy rains currently being experienced over parts of the country are expected to persist and spread to more areas. Thunder and lightning flashes as well as gusty winds are expected to accompany the rains.

Seek shelter indoors when thunder is heard or lightning is visible. Secure loose objects outside your home that could be blown away by strong winds. Postpone outdoor activities until the storm passes. If driving, slow down and use headlights for better visibility. Keep updated on weather alerts through the Ghana Meteorological Agency.
