A band of rain clouds observed within the Volta and Eastern regions are expected to develop further and spread to affect more areas within the regions this evening. The rain and thunder clouds are expected to spread to parts of the Greater Acra region. Moderate to heavy rainswith thunder and lightning are anticipated within these regions with strong winds occasionally.

Stay indoors if possible, especially during periods of heavy rainfall and strong winds. Secure loose objects outside your home that could be blown away by strong winds. Keep away from trees, power lines, and structures that may be weakened by the rain and wind. Avoid crossing flooded areas, whether walking or driving.
