RAIN CLOUDS FROM VOLTA REGIOM APPROACHING EASTERN REGION

Communities including Begoro, Ho, Koforidua, Akim Oda, Asesewa, Donkorkrom, Maame Krobo, Odumase, Somanya, Suhum, Teacher Mante, Akropong, Kibi, Osino, New Abirem and surrounding areas should prepare for rainfall of varying intensity accompanied by thunder and lightning activity. The storm system is anticipated to bring periods of moderate to heavy downpours with potential for sudden weather changes as it moves through the region.

Residents in the affected areas should complete outdoor activities and secure loose items. During the thunderstorm, stay indoors and away from windows, unplug electrical appliances to prevent damage from lightning strikes, and avoid using corded phones or electrical devices connected to outlets.
