Rainstorm over Ghana

A weak rainstorm over the Bono East region is expected to continue producing rain and thunder and spread to the Bono region and parts of the Ashamti region this morning. A separate rainstorm over the northeast border is anticipated to produce moderate to heavy rain with thunder and string winds over the northern and northeast regions early this morning. The storm is expected to produce similar conditions within the Upler East, Savannah and Upper West regions later this morning into the afternoon.

Avoid going outside unless absolutely necessary. Stay indoors to protect yourself from heavy rain, thunder, and strong winds. Stay away from low-lying areas, riverbanks, and other flood-prone regions. Flash flooding can occur quickly. If you must travel, drive with caution. Roads may be slippery, and visibility can be reduced due to heavy rain. Avoid driving through flooded areas.
