RAINSTORM OVER NORTHERN GHANA (29-08-2026)

Rain and thunder clouds have engulfed parts of the Northern region and is spreading to the Savannah region These clouds are expected to produce rain of varying intensity within the regions especially within the North Gonja, West Gonja and Sawla Tuna Kalba districts. The rest of Savannah region and few areas in the Upper West region are expected to experience moderate rains later this morning into the afternoon.

Residents are advised to take necessary precautions during the storm. Seek shelter during heavy rain and lightning, avoid open areas and isolated trees, and exercise caution while driving due to poor visibility and slippery roads.
