Rainstorm tracking over southern Ghana

A moderate rainstorm observed over the border of the Ghana and Togo is expected to move westwards to produce rain if varying intensity with thunder over southern Ghana and parts of the north. The Volta, Eastern, and Greater Accra regions are expected to be affcted earluer before drifting to the Central, Western, Ashanti,and Western north regions.

Seek shelter indoors when thunder is heard or lightning is visible. Secure loose objects outside your home that could be blown away by strong winds. Postpone outdoor activities until the event ceases. If driving, slow down and use headlights for better visibility. Keep updated on weather alerts through the Ghana Meteorological Agency.
