Scattered Thunderstorms along the coast

A rainstorm observed over the southeastern border of Ghana is expected to continue its movement into country to produce rain, thunder and windy conditions over southern Ghana. The Volta, Eastern and Greater Accra regions are expected to experience these conditions early this morning before drifting to the Central and Western regions later this morning.

Seek shelter indoors when thunder is heard or lightning is visible. Secure loose objects outside your home that could be blown away by strong winds. Postpone outdoor activities until the event ceases. If driving, slow down and use headlights for better visibility. Keep updated on weather alerts through the Ghana Meteorological Agency.
