A band of thunder and rain clouds over Northern Ghana are currently producing thunderstorms or rain of varying intensities. These rain bearing clouds are expected to continue moving westwards whiles producing rain and thundery activities over portions of the Northern sector of the country from this morning into the afternoon.

Motorists should reduce speed, keep headlights on, and exercise caution on flood-prone roads. Farmers and traders are encouraged to secure crops, goods, and temporary structures. The public is also urged to stay away from trees and weak structures during periods of strong wind, and to monitor official updates from the Ghana Meteorological Agency for further guidance as the storm progresses.
