Thunderstorms over Northeast

Thunder and rain clouds observed over the northeast are expected to develop further and spread to more areas within the northern sector. Moderate to heavy rain is expected within the northeast, northern and savannah regions this afternoon into the evening.

Avoid outdoor activities during thunderstorms to reduce the risk of lightning strikes. Seek shelter in a sturdy building if you are outside when the storm begins.
