Thunderstorms over the southeast

Volta Eastern Greater Accra

A band of rain and thunder sloud observed over the southeast is expected to develop further to produce thunder with rain of varying intensity within the southeast. Parts of the Volta, Eastern and Greater Accra regions are anticipated to experience these conditions from late afternoon into the evening.

Get a shelter. Turn off electrical appliances during thunder strikes and lightning flashes. Avoid low lying areas. Drive with caution as roads may be slippery and visibility may be reduced. Follow Ghana Meteorological Agency for further updates.
