A thunder and rain bearing cloud observed to the northestern border of the country is exected to spread westwards to produce moderate to heavy rains with thunder within the upper east region this evening.

Avoid going outside unless absolutely necessary. Stay indoors to protect yourself from heavy rain, thunder, and strong winds. Stay away from low-lying areas, riverbanks, and other flood-prone regions. Flash flooding can occur quickly. If you must travel, drive with caution. Roads may be slippery, and visibility can be reduced due to heavy rain. Avoid driving through flooded areas.
