Thunderstorms approaching Northern Ghana

As captured in the morning forecast issued earlier this morning, the rainstorm sited over the border of Togo and Benin has intensified and is expected to produce thunderstorms with rain of varying intensities over parts of the Upper East, North East, Northern and Oti regions this morning. The storm is, however, expected to move westwards later this afternoon and continue to produce rain and thundery activities over the Savannah and Upper West Regions.

Residents are advised to take necessary precautions. Seek shelter during heavy rain and lightning, avoid open areas and isolated trees, and exercise caution while driving due to poor visibility.
