THUNDERSTORMS WITH RAIN OVER NORTHERN GHANA

Thunderstorms with rain of varying intensities are currently affecting parts of the North East Region. The storm is expected to move westwards to affect other areas in the north western portions from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Motorists should reduce speed, keep headlights on, and exercise caution on flood-prone roads. Farmers and traders are encouraged to secure crops, goods, and temporary structures. The public is also urged to stay away from trees and weak structures during periods of strong wind, and to monitor official updates from the Ghana Meteorological Agency for further guidance as the storm progresses.
