Event description

A band of rain and thunder cloud observed within the Ashanti region is expected to develop further to produce rain of varying intensity within the region. Strong winds, thunder and lightning are expected to accompany the rains.

Instructions

Get a shelter. Turn off electrical appliances during thunder strikes and lightning flashes. Avoid low lying areas. Drive with caution as roads may be slippery and visibility may be reduced. Follow Ghana Meteorological Agency for further updates.
