Rain clouds are currently engulfing parts of the Greater Accra, Eastern, and Volta regions, bringing rainfall of varying intensity to those areas. As the day progresses, the storm system is forecast to expand its coverage, with more areas within these regions expected to experience rainfall this afternoon. The storm will then shift westward, extending to parts of the Ashanti, Western, Central, and Western North regions, where rain of varying intensity is anticipated later in the afternoon into the evening.

If you are in any of the affected regions, carry a rain jacket or umbrella when heading outdoors, and avoid unnecessary travel during periods of heavy rainfall.
