Thunderstorms approaching Northern Ghana

Thunderstorm activity has been observed approaching Ghana from the northeast. This system is expected to bring rain of varying intensity, accompanied by thunder and occasional windy conditions, to the Upper East, North East, Northern, and Oti regions. Later tonight, the conditions are forecast to extend into parts of the Savannah and Bono East regions before further spreading into the Upper West region.

Residents and motorists in the affected regions are advised to stay alert to changing weather conditions. Motorists should reduce speed, keep headlights on, and exercise caution on flood-prone roads.
