Warning: Thunderstorms Approaching Volta, Oti, Eastern and Ashanti Regions

A rainstorm currently situated over central Togo and tracking westward is anticipated to produce moderate to heavy rainfall across Volta, Oti, Bono East, Ashanti and Bono regions. Areas including Ho, Vakpo, Hohoe, Kete Krachi, Dambai, and Jasikan in the Volta Region, as well as the Eastern Region, are expected to be impacted between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM. The Ashanti, Bono, and Ahafo regions are also likely to experience similar wet and potentially intense conditions later in the night.

Residents in the affected regions are advised to take precautionary measures ahead of the approaching rains. Avoid outdoor activities during heavy downpours, and stay clear of flooded roads and waterways.
