A weak to moderate rainstorm observed over the northern borders of Togo and Ghana is expected to continue moving westward to produce moderate thunderstorms or rain over the eastern portions of the north and transition sectors (Oti, Northern, Bono East regions) before moving towards the west from this afternoon into the evening hours.

Residents are advised to take necessary precautions during the storm. Seek shelter during heavy rain and lightning, avoid open areas and isolated trees, and exercise caution while driving due to poor visibility and slippery roads.
