Weather Alert: Continous thunderstorms and rain for southern Ghana

Southern Ghana

Most parts of southern Ghana have been engulfed by a slow westward movement of a rainstorm. The rainstorm is expected to continue inducing cloudiness whiles producing slight to moderate thunderstorms or rain along its path this evening into the night hours.

1. Localised flash floods are expected for low-lying areas. 2. Motorists and pedestrain are advised to refrain from moving through flood waters. 3. Motorists are cautioned to drive within required speed limits and use fog lights when visibility is poor.
