Weather Alert: Continuous Rain Over Southern Ghana

A weak to moderate rainstorm sited at the southeastern border of Ghana and Togo is expected to slowly propagate westwards to affect most areas in Southern Ghana with intermittent slight to moderate rain. Occasional thundery activities are expected. The rain is anticipated to persist throughout the morning into the afternoon hours.

Carry along umbrellas and wear rain coats when going outside. Localised flash floods are anticipated over low-lying areas so take precautionary measures. Visibility range is anticipated to deteriorate so motorists are advised to drive within required speed limit and use fog lights.
