A localised formation of rain and thunder is observed within the Eastern region. This is producing rain of varying intensity within the region and spreading to parts of the west. The clouds are expected to continue westward to produce rain of varying intensity within the Ashanti, Central and parts of the Western north regions. Konongo, New Edubiase, Breman Asikuma, Assin Fosu, Obuasi, Asante Bekwai, Kumasi, Ayanfuri and surroundings are expected to be affected tonight between 9:00 PM and 11:30 PM.

During the thunderstorm, stay indoors and away from windows, unplug electrical appliances to prevent damage from lightning strikes, and avoid using corded phones or electrical devices connected to outlets. If caught outdoors, seek substantial shelter immediately. Drivers should exercise extreme caution by reducing speed, using headlights for visibility, and avoiding flooded sections of roadway
