Rain and thunder clouds have engulfed parts of the Ashanti and Bono East regions. This storm is expected to spread to more areas within the regions and laterto parts of the Bono and Ahafo regions. Moderate to heavy rain with thunder and strong winds are anticipated over Agogo, Mampong, Ejura, Wiamoase, Nkoranza, Kintampo, Kumasi, Nkawie, Nyinahin, Offinso, Mankranso, Sunyani Wenchi, Jinijini, Wamfie, Mim, Goaso and their surroundings.

Residents in these regions should avoid outdoor activities this evening. During the thunderstorm, stay indoors and away from windows, unplug electrical appliances to prevent damage from lightning strikes, and avoid using corded phones or electrical devices connected to outlets. If caught outdoors, seek substantial shelter immediately. Drivers should exercise extreme caution by reducing speed, using headlights for visibility, and avoiding flooded sections of roadway
