Developments of thunder and rain-bearing clouds over southern Ghana are expected to intensify and produce moderate to heavy thunderstorms or rain over parts of Eastern, Ashanti, Volta, Greater Accra, Bono East and Central regions from 17:30 into the night. Some areas are likely to experience strong winds.

Avoid taking shelter under trees and weak structures. Motorists should reduce speed, use headlights, and avoid crossing flooded roads or low-lying bridges. Those in flood-prone or riverside communities, particularly near Dambai and along the Oti River, should stay alert for further updates.
