A moderate to heavy rainstorm propagating westwards from Togo is expected to induce cloudiness whiles producing thunderstorms and rain of varying intensities over the coast and the middle sector. The rainstorm is expected t9 be accompanied by gusty winds therefore precautinary measures should be taken.

If you are in any of the affected regions, carry a rain jacket or umbrella when heading outdoors, and avoid unnecessary travel during periods of heavy rainfall. Drivers are advised to slow down and exercise caution on wet roads, as visibility may be reduced and surfaces slippery. Residents in flood-prone areas should remain alert.
