WEATHER WARNING: Rainstorm Approaching Northern Ghana

A moderate to heavy rainstorm steadily approaching Northern Ghana from Togo is expected to cast cloudiness whiles producing moderate to heavy thunderstorms over places within the northern sector. The storm is expected to affect the north eastern portions between 8:30 pm to 10 pm before moving towards the north western portions from 10 pm into the midnight and dawn hours. Portions of the transition belt are likely to be affected by the rainstorm. Moderate to strong winds are likely to affect some areas.

Residents are advised to take necessary precautions during the storm. Seek shelter during heavy rain and lightning, avoid open areas and isolated trees, and exercise caution while driving due to poor visibility and slippery roads.
