Weather Warning: Rainstorm over parts of Southern Ghana

A moderate rainstorm has propagated into the eastern parts of Ghana and it is expected to produce varying intensities of thunderstorms and rain from this afternoon into the evening.

1. Localised flash floods are expected for low-lying areas. 2. Motorists and pedestrain are advised to refrain from moving through flood waters. 3. Motorists are cautioned to drive within required speed limits and use fog lights when visibility is poor. 4. Strong winds are likely to break weak structures so do not seek shelter under them.
