Weather Warning: Rainstorm propagating towards Northern Ghana

A rainstorm sited over the northern portions of Togo is expected to continue its westward movement to affect some areas within the Northern Sector of the Ghana. The rainstorm is expected to produce moderate to heavy thunderstorms or rain accompanied by strong winds.

1. Localised flash floods are expected for low-lying areas. 2. Motorists and pedestrain are advised to refrain from moving through flood waters. 3. Motorists are cautioned to drive within required speed limits and use fog lights when visibility is poor. 4. Strong winds are likely to break weak structures so do not seek shelter under them. 5.
