Localised develoments of thunder and rain-bearing clouds have developed along the eastern border of Ghana. These clouds are anticipated to intensify, expand and produce moderate to heavy thunderstorms with rain over Oti, Bono East, Bono, Northern, North East, Upper East, Volta, Eastern, Ashanti, Western North, Savannah and Upper West regions from 4:35 pm into the night hours. Gusty winds are likely to affect some areas.

Avoid taking shelter under trees and weak structures. Motorists should reduce speed, use headlights, and avoid crossing flooded roads or low-lying bridges. Farmers, market traders, and outdoor workers should secure loose materials, produce, and equipment ahead of time.
