A band of moderate rain-bearing clouds has been observed over the Gulf of Guinea, moving towards the coastline. This system is expected to increase cloudiness and produce thunderstorms accompanied by rainfall of varying intensities along the coastal areas. It is also likely to trigger the development of rain-bearing clouds and thunderstorms over the inland and forest zones. Rainfall activity is expected to commence between 2:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Avoid taking shelter under trees and weak structures. Motorists should reduce speed, use headlights, and avoid crossing flooded roads or low-lying bridges. Those in flood-prone or riverside communities, particularly near Dambai and along the Oti River, should stay alert for further updates.
