The rainstorm predicted to affect the northern and transition belts earlier is currently engulfing the Upper West, Savannah, Bono East and portions of the Bono region. It is expected that the aforementioned regions will continue to experience thunderstorms and rain of varying intensities for much of the morning hours.

Residents in these regions are advised to take necessary precautions, including seeking shelter indoors during periods of heavy rain and lightning, avoiding open fields and standing under isolated trees, and unplugging electrical appliances where possible to prevent damage from lightning strikes.
