AG. Director-General Opens Refresher Course For KIAMO Staff

The Director-General of the Ghana Meteorological Agency has today, Monday, 8th July, 2024, opened the first phase of a training programme organized for staff of the Kotokoa International Airport Meteorological Office.
The training programme is aimed at sharpening the skills of officers in the areas of Quality Control Systems, Aeronautical Meteorology and Human Resources Management.
Speaking at the brief opening ceremony, Dr. Eric Asuman, Ag. Director-General admonished participants to put the knowledge gained through the training into maximum practice.
Participants were later taken through Climate services, Quality Control systems and Aerodrome Meteorology predictions facilitated by Mr. Joseph Portuphy, Deputy Director and Head of the Synoptic Meteorology and Forecasting Department and Mr. James Dusu, Head, Engineering Department.
