GMet, DMI, Danish Embassy engagements open in Accra.

On Monday, 29th January, 2024 the Ghana Meteorological Agency received a delegation from the Danish Embassy and the Danish Meteorological Institute.

The delegation was led by the Ambassador, H.E. Tom Norring and the Director-General of the Danish Meteorological Institute, Marianne Vendel Thyrring.

The discussions centered on the operations of both institutions followed by a technical session by the steering committee and presentations on GMet services and DMI open data.

Following the discussions, the delegation took the opportunity to tour GMet to appreciate the operations of the Agency.

On Tuesday, 30th January, 2024, both institutions will sign an MoU to kick start the Strategic Sector Cooperation Agreement.
