Refresher Course for KIAMO Staff Concludes in Accra.

The one-week Aeronautical Meteorological Compliance Refresher Training for staff of the Kotoka International Airport Meteorological Office (KIAMO) successfully concluded on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at the Hill View Hotel in Accra.
The training, which commenced on Monday, July 8, 2024, aimed to enhance the skills of officers in Quality Control Systems, Aeronautical Meteorology, and Human Resources Management.
In his closing remarks, Dr. Eric Asuman, the Acting Director-General of the Agency, thanked the officers for their dedication and commitment to professional development. He emphasized the importance of applying the newly acquired knowledge and encouraged participants to support and guide each other in their duties.
Dr. Asuman also addressed staff concerns regarding welfare, training, and academic development, ensuring the participants felt reassured and motivated.
Other Management members present at the ceremony were Mr. James Dusu, Head, Engineering Department and Mrs. Gifty Samor-Dua, Head Human Resources Department
A total of 40 Staff were trained and awarded certificates of participation, symbolizing their successful completion of the training.
