Sunny weather with occasional cloudiness will prevail over most places in southern Ghana during the early afternoon hours. However, from late afternoon into the evening, there is a chance of localised thunderstorms or rain affecting parts of the coast, areas slightly north of the coast, and middle sectors of the country. Some areas expected to be affected include Abokobi, Dodowa, Doryumu, Breman Asikuma, Akim Oda, Koforidua, Twifo Praso, Assin Manso, Wassa Akropong, Somanya, Kumasi and the surrounding areas. Northern Ghana will remain hot and sunny during the afternoon hours with fairly dry and slightly hazy conditions persisting throughout the forecast period.
