The rainstorm mentioned earlier in the morning forecast has weakened but is expected to trigger rain-bearing clouds to produce thunderstorms or rain of varying intensities over the coastline and its inland areas this afternoon. The remaining portions of southern Ghana will experience sunny conditions with occasional cloud formation with the likelihood of localised thunderstorms or rain over parts of Western, Western North, Eastern and Ashanti Regions from late afternoon into the evening. Northern Ghana will remain hot and sunny with varying dry and hazy conditions throughout the forecast period.
