The rainstorm mentioned in the weather warning which was issued earlier this morning has advanced into the extreme northern portions of the country and is expected to produce thunderstorms or rain of varying intensities over some places. Meanwhile, variably cloudy conditions with occasional sunshine will dominate most parts of the country. From late afternoon into the evening, some areas in the middle, transition, and northern sectors are likely to experience thunderstorms or rain.
